The Lymphedema Warriors Association Uganda (LWAU) is a patient-led organization that brings together individuals affected by lymphedema, healthcare providers, and community partners. Our mission is to promote awareness, improve access to care, and build an inclusive network of support across Uganda.
Our Vision: A Uganda where every person with lymphedema receives compassionate care and lives free from stigma.
Whether you are a patient, caregiver, health worker, or volunteer, you can be part of the LWAU network. Membership is free and gives access to information, mentorship, and updates about medical camps and projects.
How to Join:
LWAU welcomes partnerships with hospitals, NGOs, universities, and donors who share our vision. Together we can expand care, fund medical supplies, and strengthen community programs.
